This composite heat resistant material has some amazing properties. The top surface has a bonded radiant heat shielding to shield and reflect heat. The base material is Poron, a new high tech silicone elastomeric foam. Poron can withstand temperatures in excess of 1000 degrees with no deteriorations. It does not conduct heat and will not wick or soak up oils. Only 1/4" thick and flexible, it will fit almost anywhere on a race car. The material can be cut with a sharp knife and the adhesive backing makes it a breeze to install. It is sold by the foot off of a 3’ Roll with a minimum order of 1 foot.
